Advanced RF & Microwave Design: 3-Day Hands-on Training

Master the world’s leading Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software in this intensive, three-day instructor-led course.

Designed for RF and microwave engineers, this practical program gives you the skills needed to design, simulate, and test complex high-frequency circuits for 5G/6G wireless systems, MMICs, and RF boards.

You will dive deep into Advanced Design System (ADS) and master RFPro—the industry-standard EM co-simulation environment. Learn how to effortlessly account for electromagnetic effects in 3D IC layouts, packaging, interconnects, transitions, and PCBs without leaving your circuit design workflow.

Key Software Tools Covered

  • ADS Schematic & Data Display – Streamline your initial design and data analysis.
  • ADS Layout – Create optimal, production-ready physical layouts.
  • ADS RFPro – Automate EM-circuit co-simulation using Momentum and FEM solvers.

What You Will Learn

By the end of this course, you will confidently know how to:

  • Navigate the ADS Ecosystem: Master workspace structures, libraries, schematics, and advanced data displays.
  • Optimize Performance: Set up and execute linear, nonlinear, and system-level design analysis.
  • Bridge Circuit & EM Design: Seamlessly simulate ADS layouts in RFPro using both Momentum (2.5D) and FEM (3D) solvers to catch layout parasitics early.

Note: Please note that full catering is included, with refreshments and lunch provided during the training days, giving participants the chance to network, share experiences, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
