Programme Overview
A four-day intensive training program that will bridge the gap between essential antenna measurement theory and advanced system-level satellite communications engineering.
- Antenna fundamentals and electromagnetic radiation principles
- Gain, efficiency, and calibration methodologies
- Probing systems and measurement instrumentation,
- Advanced antenna measurement theory, techniques and analysis
- Phased array systems and advanced antenna technologies
- Satellite communication system architecture and ground segment operations
- Secure satellite communications, optical links, and emerging regulatory frameworks
- Future directions in RF systems, including digital twins, UAV-based measurement, and compressive sensing approaches,
On the final day you will have an exclusive lab session at QMUL’s MUSCAT facility. You will work directly with industry-standard measurement systems, practice live workflows, and learn to manage experimental uncertainties.
Note: Please note that full catering is included, with refreshments and lunch provided during the training days, giving participants the chance to network, share experiences, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
